| Bacardi 151 Congratulations! You're 134 proof, with specific scores in beer (80) , wine (83), and liquor (104). | | All right. No more messing around. Your knowledge of alcohol is so high that you have drinking and getting plastered down to a science. Sure, you could get wasted drinking beer, but who needs all those trips to the bathroom? You head straight for the bar and pick up that which is most efficient. | |
My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender: | You scored higher than 68% on proof | | You scored higher than 70% on beer index | | You scored higher than 79% on wine index | | You scored higher than 88% on liquor index |

BLACK DAY FOR BLACK WATCH? PROSPECT OF FOREIGN TARTANS DISMAYS SCOTS
THE SCOTSMAN, Feb. 24 -- The tartans worn by Scottish soldiers since 1850 face a foreign threat.
The British army is taking bids to make the kilts worn by the amalgamated Royal Regiment of Scotland, meaning a contract might be let to foreigners, the Scotsman reports. The Ministry of Defense has launched a tender for a 5,000-kilt contract, estimated to be worth $523,000 (300,000 pounds). Previously, only a few firms in Scotland were able to produce the woven woolen cloth for the kilts.
"The kilts are clearly going to be sub-standard," said Scottish parliamentarian Jeremy Purvis. "Now there will be different cuts and shades on parades and it will be an embarrassment. The ceremonial Scottish wear of kilts and trews should absolutely be made in Scotland."
Raytheon does not participate in the Scottish kilt program.

From scunicorn98: 1) How much of what you learned in class do you use in your new job? I'd
venture about...7%, if we're being really generous. Seeing as I'm
hardly using two of my three backgrounds and the background I am
working in is my weakest, I don't think it's that bad of a
percentage. [shrugs] However, I still would like to
transition to tasks that use more of my skill set at a later time.
2) What are your current top three fave shows and why? This
is a hard one, especially since I pretty much don't watch tv; does this
have to be currently airing shows?Bleach is my current favorite; it's
fun, pretty well written, has almost no filler, and is decently well
animated.Initial D will be listed here, even though new episodes come
out twice a month. ~_~ I don't think I really have to
explain this one. Ummm....ummm....I need a 3rd show.
>_< Do video games count? No? Damn. How
about the whole category of Japanese doramas? I'm slowly watching
4 of them right now...
3) What does your screenname mean? Gah.
This is a really old screen name; I've had it for about 10 years
now. 79 is one of my favorite numbers; along with 6. I like
my primes and perfects. ^_^ Anyway, back then I was in
what, 8th grade? So Magic: The Gatering was really big way back
when, and the sengir vampire was a fun card I liked. Google
it! Maybe I should change it up finally???
4) Which is the best place to live and why: Hawaii, California, Japan? This
is a really hard one; I'd have to say that each has their merits.
Japan has the most interesting history and culture of the three.
California and Japan have the trendy, happening scene. Hawaii is
nice, laid-back, and beautiful, but of course nothing ever happens
there. Unfortunately, there's the more pressing issue of where I
can viably live; my Japanese is nowhere nearly good enough to live by
in Japan, so that one's out. There's virtually no job market for
my field in Hawaii (military jobs not withstanding), so that's not
really a choice either. So for now, California is the place to
be. Of course, I would like to go back to Hawaii and raise a
family there, but that's an iffy proposition for the forseeable future.
5) What genre of music do you listen to the most often and why? I
usually mix it up between: Hawaiian, Techno, Trance, and
JPop/JRock/JRap. It all depends on mood. Hawaiian is mostly
for the relaxing, mellow times. I really like to study to EDM;
driving to EDM is also very fun, eurobeat particularly so.
Japanese stuff is my default.
So the last question makes a nice tie in to my last post; for mafaun, half the list is actually jpn artists. =P Hah. So some background info seems to be necessary on some them: move - Japan - Techno/Trance;
mostly known for their songs in Initial D, their albums actually cover
a decent variety of styles. Yuri being hot also helps. ^_^V orange range - Okinawa (Japan) - Rock;
known for catchy lyrics and fun beats. While watching a top 111
summer songs of Japan, they had 4 of the top 10, along with another 3
or so in the rest of the list. Their 3rd album just came out a
month ago. Bennie K - Japan - Pop; yay for more catchy fun summer songs! Keahiwai - Hawaii - Hawaiian/Pop;
with their unique, recognizable sound and great lyrics, not many Hawaii
musicians can top them. Not to mention that Lei Melket is cute. Tadpole - New Zealand - Rock; actually...I think I'll let whos_your_father handle this one. =P
GROUND
RULES: The first player of this "game" starts with the topic "5
weirdest habits of yourself" and people who get tagged need to write a
xanga entry about their 5 weird habits as well as state this rule
clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next 5 people to be tagged
and list their xanga ID'S. Don't forget to leave a love letter that
says "You are tagged" in their xanga and tell them to read yours..
I WAS TAGGED BY melanie
HERE ARE MY 5 WEIRDEST HABITS/THINGS ABOUT MYSELF:
1. I like to crack my neck. It's decently loud sometimes. Fingers too. 2. I probably own almost half of the skin care products in my apartment of 2 guys and 2 girls. 3. Repetitious things don't tire or bore me out. Ex: 5 hr car races on gt3/ps2, software coding, etc. 4. I rarely, if ever, get stressed about things. 5. I get easily confused. Angela says that I have a "confusion aura;" I induce confusion wherever I go. ^_^
I tag: Vickey, Joe, Dave, Dale, Cat, Craig, and anybody else who wants to do this.
